Keeping greenhouse film securely in place along the ridge is one of those details that makes a significant difference to the long-term performance of a commercial greenhouse. The Harfords Aluminum Ridge Base is an extruded aluminum profile designed specifically for this purpose, providing a clean, reliable fixing point for EVA greenhouse film along the full length of the ridge.
The Wigley wire locks the film firmly into the ridge base and prevents movement when the ridge vents open and close. This is particularly important in commercial greenhouse environments where vents are operated regularly and film movement can accelerate wear, compromise the seal, and ultimately shorten the life of the cover.
The Harfords wriggly wire is sold in 2m lengths.
